FAQ
Which LUT should I use for my footage?
Choose by how your clip looks, not by your phone or camera.
• Flat, gray and low-contrast → it's Log. Use the Apple Log version for iPhone, or the S-Log3 version for Sony.
• Normal, colorful → it's not Log. Use the HLG version for the standard iPhone Camera app (HDR Video on), or the Rec.709 version for SDR video and other cameras.
Every look includes all four versions, so it works even if you never shoot Log.

What is Apple Log? Do I need it?
Apple Log is a flat recording mode on Pro iPhones. It keeps more highlight and shadow detail, so the color comes out cleaner after the LUT. Shooting Log isn't required, but the extra data gives you a richer, cleaner image. For a more casual workflow, the HLG and Rec.709 versions give standard iPhone video the same mood.
Do I need to convert to Rec.709 before applying the LUT?
No. The Log versions already include the conversion, so apply them straight onto Log footage. Adding a separate conversion first will make the image too contrasty and saturated.
Which apps can I use?
Any app that loads .cube files.
• Desktop: DaVinci Resolve / Premiere Pro / Final Cut Pro / CapCut (desktop)
• iPhone: Blackmagic Camera (bake in while recording, or use for monitoring only) / LumaFusion / PeekLUT, etc.
CapCut mobile can't load external LUTs at the moment.

Is it beginner-friendly?
Yes. Apply the LUT, then adjust exposure and saturation if needed. If it feels too strong, lower the opacity (LUT intensity) to 60–80%.
Do I need to shoot ProRes?
No. Apple Log gives the same color in HEVC (H.265) or ProRes.
Can I use it for photos?
Yes. This set also includes the photo looks for Lightroom (5 profiles + 6 presets), in the same colors as the video LUTs.
Can I use them for commercial or client work?
Yes. Personal, commercial and client projects are all included — no extra license needed. Reselling, redistributing or sharing the LUT files is not allowed.
Does it work on Mac and Windows?
Yes, both.
How do I download and install?
